Steps

Optional: cover the plate with paint.

  • Using a pencil, trace a circle with the help of markers along the perimeter.
  • Cut using a craft knife or scissors.
  • With the 4 mm tip of the hole punch, punch holes around the perimeter of the circle approximately every 1.5 cm.
  • Cut strands of about 50 cm (cut longer strands to increase difficulty).
  • Thread the string through the eye of the needle and connect the points in a random fashion until the thread is exhausted.
  • Once all the points are connected, glue pieces of pipe cleaners and a pompom to form the whiskers and nose of the rabbit. Finish by adding the eyes.

  • On a foam sheet, trace two large ovals and cut them out.
  • On a foam sheet or adhesive felt, trace two ovals slightly smaller than the first ones.
  • Glue the small ovals onto the large ones, then attach the entire assembly to the back of the plate using a hot glue gun.

Through weaving and gluing, here's an original and very accessible rabbit!
