Steps

  • Fold the foam sheet in half to create two A5-sized sheets. Cut along the fold.
  • On the first sheet: trace the outline of the rabbit using the flat surface as a template.
  • Punch holes all around the rabbit using the larger tip, spaced at regular intervals of about 1.5 cm.
Make sure to perforate outside the outline to avoid visible holes in the final step.
The intervals can be reduced; the more perforations, the more yarn will be needed to connect the points.
  • Once the perforations are done around the edges, cut strands of about 60 cm in the desired colors.
  • Thread through the needle and connect the points randomly until the thread is used up. Repeat the process for each color until all the points are connected (you can pass through the same point multiple times).
  • On the first sheet: trace the outline of the rabbit using the flat surface as a template. Cut out the rabbit shape (using a craft knife or scissors while keeping the frame intact).
  • Using a hot glue gun, cover the first sheet, making sure to conceal the perforation points.
  • Decorate with multi-sized adhesive ribbons to perfect the creation.

For soft and unique Easter rabbits, created through a play of crossed threads!

Note: We used the paper collage technique on the template for a matching decoration!
