Weave horizontal strips through the vertical strips.

Steps
Cut 9 strips: all 1,9cm wide and in the following lengths: 3 strips 28cm long, 3 strips 25,4cm long, 2 strips 22,9cm long and 1 strip 8,9cm long. Adjust the lengths of the strips to the size of your present to obtain a star more or less voluminous.
Form an « eight » by attaching the ends of each strip. Use adhesive tape to fix your folds in place so that the “eights” keep their shape by themselves. Make a circle with the small strip; it will form the centre of the star.
Glue the « eights » together using double sided adhesive beginning with the largest. Remember to stagger the smaller « eights » with the larger sizes to get a beautiful star. Finish with the small circle in the middle.
