To begin, each player receives 3 cards. Each player takes it in turns to choose a “tale” card before placing the card back in the pile or placing a “wolf” card on top of a “tale” card to steal it. In this case, the player concerned trumps a “forest card”, if the wolf appears, they lose their card; if it is the hunter, the wolf is killed and the player keeps their card.
